Choosing a location within Broward
Broward is a big county, and the drive between communities can take much longer at rush hour on I-95, I-595, or the Turnpike. In our experience, the best location is usually the one that makes it easiest for the family members who visit most often, and that keeps your loved one close to the doctors they already see. If family is split between Broward and Palm Beach or Miami-Dade, we can include options across county lines.
Hospital and rehab discharges in Broward
Many families first call us when a parent is about to be discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation center and can't safely go home alone. Broward is served by two public hospital systems — Broward Health and Memorial Healthcare System — as well as several private hospitals. If you're facing a discharge deadline, ask the hospital's case manager or social worker what level of care is recommended and when discharge is expected, then call us. We can prioritize urgent situations.
